Biography

Dr. Ghada Issa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at Brown University and a Clinician Educator. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Issa attended medical school in Lebanon and is fellowship trained in abdominal imaging, having completed her fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2020. She is the Director of Ultrasound at Rhode Island Hospital and serves as the Associate Director of the Body Imaging Intervention fellowship program. Dr. Issa has received several teaching awards, including the Award for Excellence in Teaching from Rhode Island Hospital in 2022 and the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 2023. Her contributions to the field of radiology are further enhanced by her commitment to education and mentorship.
