Biography

Prof. AlRegib is the John Marilu McCarty Chair Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has served as the Director of Georgia Tech’s Center for Energy Geo Processing (CeGP) and the Center for Signal Information Processing (CSIP). With over 270 articles published in international journals and conference proceedings, he is an active contributor to the field. His research interests reside in machine learning, image and video processing, human loop algorithms, and uncertainty in AI systems, with applications in autonomous vehicles, healthcare intelligence, and seismic interpretation. Prof. AlRegib has also been recognized as an IEEE Fellow and has received multiple prestigious awards, including the ECE Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award and the Denning Faculty Award for Global Engagement. He has contributed significantly to the development of open-source datasets and served as a consultant for various firms and international educational organizations.
