Biography

Ghassem Ansari is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is known for his expertise in administration and leadership within oral health organizations, having held significant leadership roles including president and vice president of the IADR Iranian Division. Dr. Ansari served as an editorial member of the International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014 and has been editor-in-chief for several Iranian dental journals. His contributions also include establishing the first dental sedation program in Iran at Beheshti University Dental School in 2007 and leading a pediatric dentistry residency program in Dubai from 2010 to 2014. Having relocated to the U.S., he has been actively engaged in teaching dental students and residents in Florida. Dr. Ansari has authored multiple books on pediatric oral health and has delivered numerous courses and webinars on pediatric dentistry topics such as behavior management and dental trauma. He has a strong research focus on dental sedation and innovations in pulp therapy for children.
