Biography

Ghislaine Cleret de Langavant is the Director of the Office of Responsible Conduct in Research (BCRR) at the Université de Montréal since January 2017. In this role, she is responsible for the administrative management and scientific direction of the BCRR, which includes the ethical oversight of research involving human participants, ethical oversight of research involving animals, managing allegations of scientific integrity violations, and promoting awareness and training in research ethics and responsible conduct, including health and safety in laboratories. Ghislaine holds a doctorate in biomedical sciences, a master’s degree in nutrition, and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. Since 2004, she has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Administration at the Université de Montréal.
