Biography

Ghislaine Doufle completed her residency in Anesthesia Critical Care Medicine in 2011 in Paris, France. She subsequently enrolled in the Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship Program at Toronto General Hospital and joined the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Medicine at the University of Toronto in 2013. Currently, she is appointed as the Education Lead of the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Doufle is fully certified in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and is a supervisor for the European Diploma in Echocardiography and the National Board of Echocardiography. She leads the advanced critical care echocardiography curriculum fellowship and has main interests in medical education and echocardiography, with a special focus on extracorporeal life support (ECLS).
