Biography

Ghulam Mubashar Hassan received his B.Sc in Electrical Electronics Engineering with honors from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his MS in Electrical Computer Engineering at Oklahoma State University, USA, achieving a CGPA of 4.0/4.0. He earned his PhD from the University of Western Australia, specializing in the Joint Schools of Computer Science & Software Engineering and Civil & Resource Engineering. Dr. Hassan has been recognized as a valedictorian and has received several awards including the PhD UWA Entrepreneurship Award 2015 and the UWA Bruce & Betty Award. He served as an Assistant Professor at UET Peshawar for four years and has worked as a Research Associate at King Saud University. Currently, he is a faculty member at the University of Western Australia, focusing on multidisciplinary problems involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, and optimization in engineering education. His active research interests include advancing methodologies in these areas while contributing to various projects aimed at improving clinical translation and educational practices.
