Giacomo Guidotti graduated in Architecture from the Lausanne Polytechnic in 1997. Later that year, he co-founded the practice Guidotti Architetti in Monte Carasso with Riccarda Guidotti. From 2001 to 2004, he served as an assistant at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture. Since the late 1990s, he has been an assistant at the International Design Seminar held in Monte Carasso, directed by Luigi Snozzi.
