Biography

Gianmarco Fifi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and previously served as the Nicholas Barr Fellow in European Political Economy at the London School of Economics (LSE). Fifi's work focuses on how economic crises reshape actors' policy preferences and perceptions of the future of Europe. His findings have been published in major journals including the Journal of European Public Policy, Review of International Political Economy, Journal of Common Market Studies, and New Political Economy. He has experience in teaching and mentoring in political economy and research, and has been awarded various grants, including Einaudi Foundation Scholarships and a Marie Curie Global Fellowship. His expertise encompasses European integration, crisis management, environmental politics, and economic ideas.
