Biography

Gill Bejerano is a Professor of Developmental Biology and Computer Science at Stanford University. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning applications in Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Gill has received multiple academic awards including the Mallinckrodt, Sloan, Human Frontiers, Searle, Okawa, David Lucile Packard, and Microsoft Sony Scholar awards. He has trained and collaborated with computational scientists, experimentalists, and clinicians, and has advised MBAs, helping to launch start-ups and collaborate with Fortune 500 companies.
