Biography

Gilles Joncas is a full professor in the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics, and Optics at Université Laval. He earned his PhD in Computer Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 2007 and holds a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the same institution. Joncas completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Iyengar Lab & Systems Biology Center at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from 2007 to 2011.
