Biography

Gina Potarca is a scientific collaborator at the Institute of Demography and Socioeconomics at the Faculty of Social Sciences at UNIGE. She obtained her doctorate from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands in 2014 and has been leading an Ambizione research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation since 2018, focusing on how the Internet changes relationships and coupling. Her other research interests mainly involve the application of numerical, multi-level, and longitudinal methods to study the social impact of the digital revolution and mental health.
