Dr. Giovanni Artho

Biography

Giovanni Artho is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at McGill University. He specializes in abdominal imaging and chest imaging, with a particular focus on hepatobiliary pancreatic cross-sectional imaging and gynecological genito-urinary imaging. He completed his medical degree at the University of Bern, Switzerland, between 1983 and 1990, and underwent residency training at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 1995 to 1999. Following his residency, he pursued fellowship training in abdominal and chest imaging at the University of Toronto, specializing in hospitals affiliated with Mount Sinai from 1999 to 2001. Dr. Artho is involved in training the next generation of radiologists and contributes to advancements in imaging techniques and patient care.
