Dr. Giovanni Camponovo

Biography

Giovanni Camponovo obtained a management education and a doctorate in information systems from the University of Lausanne. During his studies, he served as a teaching and research assistant in accounting and information systems from 1998 to 2006 at the University of Lausanne. Since 2006, he has been a lecturer-researcher at SUPSI, where he is responsible for the Business Information Systems module and teaches Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Economic Planning. He also teaches at the Swiss Academy of Consulting and Auditing, as well as at the University of Lausanne and University of Geneva on topics related to financial and management accounting. Additionally, he has published several research articles, participated in various scientific conferences, and conducted studies and consulting for different local companies. His research interests include management of information systems, new business models related to e-commerce and mobile, management accounting, and controlling.
