Biography

Dr. Gisèle Mainville obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Université de Montréal in 2009. She subsequently completed a year of advanced residency in dental medicine and stomatology at CHUM-Hôpital Notre-Dame. In 2010, she left Quebec to undertake three years of specialty training in oral and maxillofacial pathology at the renowned Ohio State University. Upon returning from Columbus in 2013, she successfully completed the national specialty examinations in oral pathology in Canada and the United States. Dr. Mainville is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Université de Montréal, where she teaches future dentists. Additionally, she is involved in managing biopsies performed in the oral and maxillofacial pathology laboratory at the Faculty of Dental Medicine. Dr. Mainville is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (ABOMP).
