Dr. Giulia D Agostino

Biography

Giulia D'Agostino is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Argumentation, Linguistics Semiotics (IALS) at the Università della Svizzera italiana. She is also an Associate Member of the Centre for Argument Technology (ARG-tech) at the University of Dundee in Scotland. Her research applies qualitative and quantitative methods for large-scale inquiries into linguistic argumentative strategies within the financial communication sector. Her work primarily focuses on the identification, analysis, and retrieval of argumentative patterns, particularly within dialogical exchanges in the financial domain. D'Agostino's areas of expertise include financial communication, argumentation in context, argument mining, computational linguistics, natural language processing, and strategic communication related to investor relations.
