Dr. Giuliana Fuscaldo

Biography

Giuliana Fuscaldo holds a PhD and specializes in bioethics with a focus on the ethical issues arising from gamete and embryo donation. Having completed her Masters in Bioethics at Monash University and her PhD at the University of Melbourne, she has worked extensively as a clinical scientist and researcher at the Melbourne IVF clinic. Throughout her career, Giuliana has held academic positions at both the University of Melbourne and Monash University, contributing significantly to teaching and research in health ethics. She also managed Barwon Health's research office, enhancing research ethics processes and building research capacity through the introduction of a clinical ethics service. Her research interests center on the ethical dimensions introduced by advances in reproductive technology and the implications of health ethics research.
