Glen Staszewski’s research broadly focuses on democratic legitimacy, lawmaking, and the interpretation of the modern administrative state. Staszewski has published articles in leading journals on topics at the intersection of administrative law, constitutional theory, legislation, statutory interpretation, and civil procedure. Staszewski was previously a trial attorney at the Federal Programs Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice before joining the MSU Law faculty. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Vanderbilt Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. After graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Fortunato P. Benavides on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Currently, he teaches courses including Civil Procedure, Legislation, and Administrative Law, and has been recognized for teaching excellence by the MSU Law’s Student Bar Association.
