Biography

Glenn Tung is a Professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Chief of the Division of Imaging Research at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He graduated from Yale University in 1978 and obtained his MD from Washington University in St. Louis in 1982. Dr. Tung is board certified in Internal Medicine and Radiology, having achieved his certifications in Diagnostic Radiology in 1989 and in Neuroradiology in 2006. His research interests include aspects of imaging related to the anterior cruciate ligament, complexities of pediatric imaging, and developments in neuroimaging for tracking brain development in healthy infants. Over his career, he has played pivotal roles in multiple funded research projects, contributing to our understanding of surgical outcomes in ACL reconstruction and imaging techniques for various conditions. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, often covering topics pertinent to radiology and clinical imaging, and has received numerous awards for his teaching excellence at Brown University.
