Biography

Göran Björk is Professor Emeritus at the University of Gothenburg, with a rich research background in physical oceanography and marine science. His career has focused extensively on ocean circulation and ice conditions in the Arctic Seas. Björk's work has significantly contributed to understanding major circulation features in oceanic systems, exploring the relationships between ice thickness distribution and deformation processes.
