Biography

Gordon H. Chang is the Olive H. Palmer Professor of Humanities at Stanford University, specializing in History. His research interests encompass history, historical connections, race and ethnicity in America, foreign relations, and trans-Pacific relations with a focus on diplomatic and cultural social dimensions.
