Biography

Gordon McTaggart-Cowan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering at Simon Fraser University. He has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, which he completed in 2006, and he holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution and the University of Victoria respectively. McTaggart-Cowan has been actively involved in teaching fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and energy system applications at the undergraduate and graduate levels, overseeing various courses such as Fluid Mechanics and Heat Mass Transfer. He has published numerous research papers and holds several patents related to the development of advanced combustion technologies.
