Biography

Dr. Gordon Wilson has a PhD and over 25 years of industrial experience in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, particularly focusing on advanced waste management and unsaturated soil mechanics. His research is recognized for predicting and monitoring the performance of cover systems, and he is currently engaged in large-scale experiments at major mines, like Grasberg and Antamina, exploring innovative techniques to blend tailings with waste rock to produce high-strength sealing materials for waste management systems.
