Biography

Grace Dixon is an experienced instructor with a strong background in management. She has taught at various universities in Auckland, New Zealand, for nine years and began her tenure at the Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2012. At Massey University in Auckland, she conducted courses in management theory and social responsibility. After moving to the School of Communication Studies at Auckland University of Technology, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Creative Industries major at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, developing curricula that encompass management, communication, and creative work. Grace has supervised numerous postgraduate student projects and has also worked in the communications field with Singapore organizations such as the Singapore Economic Development Board and Meta. Her professional experience has allowed her to interact with over 100 companies in Singapore, fostering her interest in studying organizations. Currently, she offers electives focused on organizational processes, leadership, and critical management studies. Her research interests include knowledge management, leadership theory, management case studies, and rhetorical methodologies. Additionally, Grace served as the Program Director for a dual degree program at Singapore Management University from 2014 to 2019 and continues to mentor students living on campus.
