Biography

Haoqing Grace Fan joined Singapore Management University in 2020 as an Assistant Professor at the School of Accountancy. She obtained her PhD in Accounting from INSEAD and holds a Master of Professional Accounting degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Sun Yat-Sen University. Her research interests lie in the areas of real effects of accounting regulations, government accounting, pension accounting, and the housing market. She has garnered valuable industry experience through her work in auditing, banking, and equity research. Grace has been recognized for her academic achievements with several awards, including a PhD Fellowship from INSEAD (2015-2020) and being an Outstanding Graduate from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2015. She has also contributed to the academic community as an Ad-Hoc Reviewer for the Hawaii Accounting Research Conference and as a Co-Organizer for the INSEAD-Wharton Doctoral Consortium.
