Dr. Grace Huang

Biography

Grace Huang is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Predoctoral Orthodontics Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. She oversees the predoctoral orthodontics curriculum and acts as the course director for both didactic and clinical courses. Dr. Huang graduated from the University of Pennsylvania as part of an accelerated bio-dental program and has been recognized with honors, including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. After completing her orthodontic training and earning a Master of Medical Science degree at Harvard University, she received the prestigious Eugene L. Gottlieb Student of the Year Award from the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. Her research interests involve periodontal pathogenesis, treatment personalization, and the integration of artificial intelligence in remote monitoring technologies. Dr. Huang has published extensively in leading journals and has received numerous awards for her contributions to research and education. She is actively involved in various professional organizations and has held leadership positions, including serving as a resident champion for the American Association of Orthodontists. Outside of her academic responsibilities, Dr. Huang enjoys Houston's food scene and spending time with family.
