Biography

Professor Graeme Black is a renowned academic and clinician in Genetics and Ophthalmology, affiliated with the University of Manchester and Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his DPhil under Professor Ian Craig at the University of Oxford, focusing on X-linked inherited ophthalmic diseases. After establishing his career in Manchester in 1995, he made significant contributions as a Wellcome Trust Clinician Scientist Fellow and later as a Senior Research Fellow.
