Dr. Graeme Howe

Biography

Graeme Howe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Queen's University. His research focuses on the origins of enzymatic catalysis and the elucidation of enzyme mechanisms. He is particularly interested in understanding the role of protein dynamics in catalysis and evaluating the interplay of solvent effects on transition state structures. He studies organic reaction mechanisms and employs kinetic isotope effects as mechanistic probes in his research.
