Graeme Keith is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging at the University of Glasgow. He joined the university in April 2018 as a Research Associate in MRI Physics, working in the lab of Professor David Porter. Previously, he completed his DPhil in cardiac MRI during a Research Assistantship focusing on ultra-high field MR technology at the University of Oxford, and earned an MSc in Medical Physics from the University of Aberdeen. His current research interests include developing innovative techniques for ultra-high field MRI of the brain, allowing for the investigation of diseases at a mechanistic level. He is particularly involved in the development of spectroscopic techniques to measure metabolic changes in the brain, both locally and in larger regions. Additionally, he utilizes non-contrast magnetic labeling methods to investigate cerebral perfusion, collaborating with a multidisciplinary research team to provide robust, quantitative MRI methodologies to explore various diseases.
