Biography

Graeme J. Kennedy is an Associate Professor at the Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, where he leads a research team focused on the development and application of numerical optimization techniques for solving structural multidisciplinary design problems, with a primary emphasis on the analysis and design of fixed-wing aircraft. Before joining the faculty at Georgia Tech, Dr. Kennedy was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan in their Department of Aerospace Engineering. He obtained his PhD from the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies in 2012. His research collaborations include the Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence (VLRCOE).
