Biography

Professor Graham Carr is the President and Vice-Chancellor of Concordia University. He has held various leadership positions at Concordia, including Provost and Vice-President of Academic Affairs, as well as Vice-President of Research and Graduate Studies, and Dean of Graduate Studies. His research specializes in North American cultural history, with a particular focus on cultural diplomacy during the Cold War. As President, he currently is not taking new graduate students. He has actively contributed to academic governance through his service on the Leadership Council for Digital Infrastructure, has held the presidency of the Canadian Federation for Humanities and Social Sciences, and chaired the Canada-US Fulbright selection committee.
