Biography

Grant Miller is the Henry J. Kaiser, Jr. Professor and a Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute at Stanford University, where he holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Economics. His research focuses on health policy, economic policy, and international development with particular emphasis on poverty reduction and health systems improvement. Miller has led several initiatives aimed at strengthening health systems globally, including Co-Founding the Collaboration for Health System Improvement Impact Evaluation India (COHESIVE-India). He has served in various capacities, including as Director of the Stanford King Center on Global Development and the Stanford Center for Global Poverty and Development. Throughout his career, he has earned recognition for his contributions to health economics and has been involved with institutions like the National Bureau of Economic Research as a research associate and faculty fellow. Miller has received numerous honors, including the Dong Wei Faculty Fellow award for his work at the Stanford King Center.
