Biography

Greg Alcock is the Director of Physiotherapy at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic and an Advanced Health Care Practice Field Lead for the innovative Sport Exercise Medicine Master's program at Western University. His work allows him to engage with a full spectrum of sports medicine, including event coverage, clinical care, and applied research in sport medicine training. In his role, Greg collaborates with a leadership team, colleagues, and partners to develop expertise and deliver care that meets the international standards set by IFOMPT and IFSPT for professional, recreational, and varsity athletes. He is also an instructor, examiner, and mentor for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic level system. As a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists, he has held executive positions within the National Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Greg is an author of several orthopaedic sport medicine articles and has presented his work nationally and internationally. His ongoing research interests focus on lower extremity-related pathology, its prevention, and the prognosis for return to sport rehabilitation.
