He remains active at local, state, and federal levels to advance pro-housing policies, ensuring that Austin remains a place where people can afford to call home. A graduate of the UT Austin Urban Studies program, Anderson later earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He has worked across government, non-profit, and for-profit sectors and especially enjoys helping students find pathways to opportunities. At UT, he teaches Urban Studies courses that connect students to real-world issues related to housing, equity, sustainability, and city planning.
