Biography

Greg Lewis is a Lecturer in Business Administration at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He currently teaches Strategy 609: Healthcare Strategy and serves as a faculty advisor for the MBA MAP and the BA 600: Consulting Studio for MM students, as well as the BA 453: Capstone Map for BBA seniors. Additionally, he teaches HMP 678 - Strategic Management in Healthcare at the School of Public Health. Greg's research interests focus on healthcare affordability, access, and quality, while also developing values-driven inspirational leaders, particularly women. Greg retired in October 2016 after a long tenure as a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he spent 15 years primarily focusing on healthcare client work. His experience includes serving health insurers, hospital systems, large employers, and government sectors in areas such as population health management and the implementation of various payment models. Beyond client work, Greg has a passion for leadership development, having served as co-Dean of Inspire, a training program at McKinsey. He has also contributed to various boards focused on education and girls' opportunities. Greg resides in Ann Arbor Hills with his wife and children, pursuing his passion for cycling.
