Greg Pawlowski teaches first-year Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing, as well as an upper-level writing course focusing on legal writing and civil practice at Duke University School of Law. Prior to joining the Duke faculty, he spent 13 years as an attorney at Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Durham Office, where he practiced consumer law. In part of his practice, Pawlowski represented and advised clients on consumer protection matters, foreclosure defense, and bankruptcy. He regularly co-counseled casework with the Duke Civil Justice Clinic, providing direct supervision to clinic students on various legal matters. Additionally, he serves as the chair of the consumer task force for legal services organizations in North Carolina. Pawlowski holds a B.S. from the University of Toledo, obtained in 2006, and a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law, received in 2009. He is a member of the North Carolina bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina and the Northern District of Ohio.
