Biography

Greg Richards conducts research on organizational performance management, Business Intelligence, and Business Analytics practices and their outcomes for public and private sector organizations. He leads the Centre for Business Analytics Performance which explores emerging technical and social issues related to analytics, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence. He coordinates the BDO/Interis Public Sector Performance Management research cluster that examines performance strategies unique to public management. Professor Richards teaches courses on Corporate Performance Management and Business Intelligence/Business Analytics in the MBA and EMBA programs, along with a Management Consulting course which includes coordinating an MBA Consulting project. Prior to his academic career, he worked at Transport Canada and Audit Canada, and has consulting experience spanning over 20 years. He is a Certified Management Consultant and a Fellow of the CMC-Ontario Institute of Management Consultants, as well as an Academic Fellow of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes.
