Biography

Gregg Bennett is a Professor and Director of the Center for Sport Management Research at Texas A&M University. With extensive experience in sport marketing, he plays a vital role in the sport management curriculum and teaches a range of courses including Sport Communication and Sport Marketing. He received the ING Professor Excellence Award in 2010 and was named Teacher of the Year for the College of Health and Human Performance at the University of Florida in 2002. Bennett’s research interests primarily focus on effective industry practices in sport marketing. He has been recognized as a Research Fellow by the North American Society for Sport Management from 2010 to 2012 and was the inaugural class of Research Fellows for the Sport Marketing Association. In 2002, he founded the Sport Marketing Association and served as its President in 2011. Additionally, he has contributed significantly to journals as an editorial board member for various sport management publications and has a robust publication history spanning several key areas in sport marketing and management.
