Biography

Gregory Eschenauer is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and serves as a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases at Michigan Medicine. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University and completed pharmacy practice and infectious diseases specialty residencies at the University of Michigan. Following residency training, Dr. Eschenauer practiced as an infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at New York Presbyterian Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center before joining the University of Michigan. He has been recognized with several awards including the Department of Clinical Pharmacy’s Faculty Preceptor Year award in 2023 and the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists Professional Practice Award in 2021. Additionally, he received a Student Appreciation Award from the P3 class of Phi Delta Chi at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.
