Biography

Greg Kennedy is a Professor of Strategic Foreign Policy at King's College London, specifically within the Defence Studies Department, a position he has held since June 2000. He has previously taught at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Professor Kennedy has a PhD from the University of Alberta, an MA in War Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada, and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Saskatchewan. His research focuses on strategic foreign policy issues such as maritime defence, disarmament, diplomacy, and intelligence. He supervises PhD students in several areas including Anglo-American Relations and British and American Foreign Policy from 1900-1945. He is also involved with the Corbett Centre which aims to enhance the understanding and analysis of maritime policy and strategy. His work has been published internationally and he is actively engaged with a variety of research groups and projects that explore military, diplomatic, social, and economic aspects of conflict.
