Biography

Greg Taylor was a founding director of Taylor Fry Consulting Actuaries and has acted as a consultant for 15 years. Prior to establishing his company in 1999, he worked as an actuary in the finance and insurance industry for 30 years, with an additional 8 years in academia. He has been recognized as an Officer of the Order of Australia and is a recipient of the Gold Medals ever awarded by the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. Additionally, he holds the Finlaison Medal (Silver Medal) from the UK Institute Faculty of Actuaries. His expertise lies in the theory of Insurance Loss Reserving, and he has authored books, co-authored subjects, and translated works into Japanese.
