Griffin Hosseinzadeh is an assistant professor in the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of California, San Diego. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests focus on studying the remnants of stellar explosions, such as neutron stars and black holes, through optical observations and gravitational-wave sources.
