Guanghui (George) Lan is a Russell Chandler III Chair Professor at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech and serves as the Associate Director of the Machine Learning Data Science Center. Throughout his career, he has received numerous academic honors including the INFORMS Frederick W. Lanchester Prize in 2023 and the NSF CAREER Award in 2013. Lan has also served as an associate editor for several prestigious journals in his field since 2014.
