Biography

Gudela Grote is a Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at ETH Zurich. She completed her studies in psychology at the University of Marburg and the Technical University of Berlin and received her doctorate from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta in 1987. Since 1988, she has been continuing her research at ETH Zurich and has held visiting positions at notable institutions including the University of Sheffield, Birkbeck University of London, Curtin University, NASA Ames, MIT, and Stanford. Her published work spans topics such as organizational behavior, human factors, and safety management. Additionally, she has collaborated with companies and regulatory agencies, and has contributed to biennial surveys on employee relations in Switzerland. Recently, she has been involved in various scientific advisory boards and platforms, continuing to influence the field of organizational psychology.
