Biography

Guillaume Dumas is an associate professor of computational psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal and director of the Precision Psychiatry and Social Physiology Laboratory at the Azrieli Research Centre of CHU Sainte-Justine. He holds a position as a researcher at IVADO specializing in "AI and mental health" and has been awarded the FRQS J1 and J2 scholarships for his work in "AI and digital health". He is also an associate academic member at Mila - the Quebec Institute of Artificial Intelligence. Previously, he was a permanent researcher in neuroscience and computational biology at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France, and he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Complex Systems Brain Sciences at Florida Atlantic University, USA. His educational background includes an engineering degree in advanced engineering and computer science from École Centrale Paris, two master's degrees (theoretical physics from Université Paris-Saclay and cognitive sciences from ENS/EHESS/Paris 5), a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from Sorbonne University, and an HDR in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Paris.
