Guillaume ST-JEAN specializes in veterinary anatomical pathology and animal reproduction. His research aims to better understand the mechanisms regulating uterine development and physiology in mammals as well as the pathogenesis of uterine diseases. Currently, he is working to elucidate the roles of certain signaling pathways, including the Hippo pathway, in the physiological regulation of the uterus during estrous cycles in cows. He also wants to determine the roles of these signaling pathways in the development of uterine pathologies, such as bovine endometritis. In reproduction, he has a marked interest in characterizing transgenic mouse models and, more recently, in musculoskeletal research.
