Biography

Guillén Fernández researches the brain mechanisms that make memories and emotions possible. Using insights into these processes, he aims to understand how stressful experiences provoke traumatic memories. His knowledge is used to facilitate personalized care in psychiatry. Fernández serves as the Scientific Director at Radboud University Medical Center and is a Principal Investigator at the Donders Institute.
