Biography

Guillermo Delgado-García is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary, with a focus on epilepsy and neurological disorders. He is a full member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and serves as Co-Director of Education for the Calgary Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. Dr. Delgado-García is board-certified in Internal Medicine and holds Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Neurology, as well as Diplomate status with the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists. He earned his medical degree with honors from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) in Mexico and completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Adult Neurology at leading institutions in Mexico. Later, he pursued a Clinical Research Fellowship in Epileptology and EEG at the University of Calgary. His research accomplishments are notable, including several awards for his contributions to neuroepidemiology and clinical neurophysiology. He has participated in multiple strategic initiatives and continues to advance his expertise through various educational and research efforts.
