Dr. Gulustan Ozturk

Biography

Gulustan Ozturk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science at the University of Wisconsin. Her research focuses on bioactive compounds in milk and dairy streams, aiming to develop advanced separation processes for extracting these compounds. She emphasizes personalized nutrition and precision treatments to enhance human health. Gulustan holds a Ph.D. in Food Science with a Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology from the University of California-Davis, along with a Master’s degree in Food Engineering from the University of Ankara, and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering. Her expertise intersects with areas of nutrition and biotechnology, making significant contributions to the field of food science.
