Biography

Gundula Lücke is a researcher and lecturer at Uppsala University’s Department of Business Studies, specializing in entrepreneurship. She is also the director of the one-year Master’s Program in Entrepreneurship. Dr. Lücke received her PhD in International Business from the University of South Carolina. Her teaching spans undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, where she supervises both master's theses and doctoral students. Her current research focuses on entrepreneurial imagination, temporality, opportunity development, and embeddedness in corporate venture units. Prior to her focus on entrepreneurship, she researched institutional sociocultural approaches to understanding organizational processes, especially in multicultural contexts. Her work has yielded significant insights into the dynamics of corporate venture units and innovation labs within organizations. Some of her funded projects explore the interplay between imagination and action in promoting corporate renewal. In addition to her research, Dr. Lücke teaches various courses including Developing Opportunities and Entrepreneurship Master’s Thesis, alongside segments on research methods and sustainable entrepreneurship.
