Dr. Gunilla Carlsson

Biography

Gunilla Carlsson is a prominent researcher in the field of Occupational Therapy, affiliated with Lund University. Her research primarily focuses on active and healthy aging, with a particular interest in how various functional abilities affect individuals’ participation in everyday life. Her work emphasizes the design of physical environments and services that cater to diverse needs, allowing for greater functionality and independence. Carlsson is involved in several significant projects, including the TWIST project, which examines the role of trust in welfare technology, and the NorDigHE project, aimed at enhancing knowledge development for patients transitioning from hospital to home care.
